Meet Mac

Meet Mac, the first horse to arrive at Zephaniah’s Promise Ranch in Goldendale, WA.

Fine day for eating hay -- Mac

This is a new beginning for Mac, and for his owners Robin and Steve Mock at Zephaniah’s Promise Ranch. The ranch is a safe haven and home for horses that need a new home, need rescuing, or just need a place to “retire.” This new beginning is about bringing something special to the community, building a relationship of trust, responsibility and the promise of new things to come.

Their mission statement at the ranch: To provide free equine experiences for youth in a safe, loving, and encouraging environment that is fun for both children and horses. Robin and Steve (and Mac!) have received help and support from community members that have professional experience with horses, as well as youth and adults that share their vision and want to help them succeed.

The newest members of Mac’s family are Hope and Gracie...stay tuned for more updates, and of course more images, of the goings-on at Zephaniah’s Promise Ranch.
